Don, if you're trying to arrive at a value for guns based on your OQ scale, I think you have the SLNE too high. Certainly so on the British market. I bought an Army & Navy SLNE in England in 1996, imported it. Ran about $1600, including a Brady case, shipping, etc. $1600 would not have got me a C grade SLE back then, or even close. Nor a 1st quality BLE. Looked at several of both. Brits think SLNE's are decidedly strange. If it's a SL, then it ought to have ejectors--which is why you don't see many SLNE's over there, and why they're relative bargains, if you don't want ejectors. You can't shoot driven game with a nonejector, which is probably the big hit on SLNE's on the vintage Brit gun market. Who would've wanted to spend that kind of $ for a strictly rough shooting gun??
