boboreno, there are some people that are not new here and still will not leave a full serial number, not your fault. It is if they think someone is going to claim it is their gun or who knows what.
Good luck if you get it, still a very nice desirable gun. The chambers will be 2 1/2" and I definitely would not have them lengthened.
Laxcoach, I'm not so sure that weep hole is a deterrent as I have seen them on non refinished guns. The water has to be let out some where.
