Michael,It's your fault!Your Gun Digest artical first sparked my interest,I had no idea!. A model 16, 25-20ss, that came off Ned Roberts estate sale in 1948,was sold a couple of weeks ago.It too had a bad bore and a replacement Lyman sight,but looked to be a very nice rifle.It sold for a couple of hunded over my high bid while I was sitting in the hospital with my wife,(she is fine).

Your the BPCR shooter,if I go with a 16 twist rather than 18,could it harm the accruacy of the standard 330 grain PP bullet?I may try a heavier bullet or maybe not.
