It was good seeing you at the show..did you buy anything? Lots of nice stuff and I had a chance to talk to a number of old gunmaker friends. I bought a book is all. I'm looking for a Mannlicher-Schoenauer but didn't see any. (I don't know why I want one just do)
I was thinking about your rifle after I gave you a 40-60 round. What I was thinking is that it may be difficult to find a 32" liner and then of course in 40 is not very common. What about just taking it out to 44 or 45? Might be easier.
By the way your gun looks like a 1882 version or is it an 1873 version? If its a 73 that round I gave you is going to be much help.
I think a 44-100 would be grand.
