The bolt pictured is pretty much what a Dutch 95 Mannlicher bolt looks like except a M95 has the bolt guide rib on the body.
It's a different bolt head from the M/S.
Same for the M93 Romanian Mannlicher and the GEW 88 Commission.
I believe the one in the picture is a Karbine bolt from an 88.
Neither of these latter two have the bolt guide rib.

A Military M1903 Greek (or Breda mfg) bolt assembly will be the same as the commercial bolt assembly for a 1903 Mannlicher Schoenauer. It will be made for the 6.5x54 cartridge.
It will NOT have the bolt lock peak at the rear of the handle as the commercial bolts do however (the action pictured is a commercial).
You can see the V shaped peak on the bolt just to the right of the bolt handle base in James-I's first picture of his 1905 bolt.
They also lack the cosmetic feature of the very fine knurling on the top surface of the cocking piece and the spoon shaped bolt handle.

The 1903 bolt head is made for the 6.5 cartridge which has a smaller case head diameter than the other M/S cartridges.

Find out what's up with the rifle first inside before buying anything else. The DST is there in the pic, but there's a 'kicker' sear also inside that needs to be there.
If the rotary magazine is incomplete, Greek Military parts can be used as substitutes in the commercial 1903

Original bolt assemblys are very few and far between. Original Commercial parts of any type are hard to find but then again it ain't a Remington 700.

Kutter,
Thank you, answered some questions. Have a couple ot those surplus actions for a someday project. One is Breda, the other is Steyr. Almost identical (same mark on the receiver ring) except the Steyr is much beter quality.

Numrich was out of complete bolts so I got the parts, well most of them. I still need a firing pin spring, and an extractor. Anyone have an idea of where I may purchase a spoon/butter knife type weld on handle for this one? Brownels used to carry them.

Use the bolt handle off the bolt that is coming with the gun. Spring may just work also.

Meier Gun Works used to make a Mannlicher bolt handle, but I understand they are out of business now. They were in NM, IIRC.
I think Midway bought up their remaining stock.
A 5/8" dia round stock bar is a good starting point for filing out one on your own. Do a search for spoon or butterknife bolt handle and there are quite a few pics of the now unavailable ones to go by.

Check with Springfield Sporters in PA for suplus M/S miitary parts. They used to have a bunch.
http://www.ssporters.com/

They list a mainspring and extractor (Portugese Verguerio, but it can be fitted).
Email is usually (very) slow with them. Call if you want a quick response. Like everywhere else,,not everything on the list is in stock but I've had excellent luck with them in the past buying parts for different firearms, especially Webleys.

A Greek Military bolt MAY need to have the bolt lock 'V' peak filed into it before it will fit into the commercial receiver.
Not a big job,,they just left that feature off of the Military rifles. But there is still metal behind the bolt handle base.
Sometimes the military bolts will just ride right past the bolt lock spring of a commercial receiver depending on how that little area was shaped down during mfg'r.

It usually puts unwanted stress on the bolt lock spring as it's held in un-necessary outward tension with the bolt closed though. Better to cut in that small detail and save making a new bolt lock spring too.

Here's a couple more pics showing the difference in that area between a commercial bolt and a military M/S (Military has had it's handle bent down when built into a sporter,, otherwise unaltered.)
..and a couple that show the rest of the assembly is the same.

FWIW, I have both Commercial and Steyr Greek Military sporters and the bolts will interchange from rifle to rifle.
The is NO guarentee the headspace is anywhere near correct though!
M/S's w/loose headspace even with the matching bolt seem to be quite plentiful for some reason.

Added....Though that handle on the bolt coming along with the rifle would be tempting to scavenge,,I do think that bolt
assembly is a Kar 88 (carbine) bolt.
If it is, it's a very hard to find Military part. Being matching numbers all the better.
Kar88 bolt assemblys in nice condition usually bring $200 and up.
A simple item to list on Ebay if you want to and recover some investment costs.

The standard GEW88 (rifle) bolt assembly with the straight handle round knob usually sell for $50 to $75 as they are the common type.
They came on the tons of Turk marked 88 rifles that flooded the market few years back too. Many were stripped for parts.
There are also quite a few
Chinese mfg GEW88 rifles around. Same GEW88 bolt,,but no KAR88 style flat handle bolts that I'm aware of for the Chinese products.
(Built on German machinery gifted to the Chinese after the adoption of the Mauser 98)

More than you wanted to know most likely..

Kutter, thank you for the info. Yes the 88 bolt will go on ebay. I can't see ruining it just for a handle. Not many of that type of 88 bolt's floating around. I would like the commercial model type handle but there seems to be a lack of supply right now. Thats kinda like any of the old fashoined costom parts like trap door butt plates. If I had the equipment and time I would take up making some as they sure would sell. I would think that NECG would carry them but they do not.

I have attended the auction that rifle came from many, many times. The Sukalle Mauser thread I just brought back from the dead was purchased there.

I did not attend the particular auction you purchased this rifle came from. If you ever see anything else that interests you, let me know. I may be able to do a hands on check for you.

Wolf can supply the firing pin spring. Contact the Mannlicher Collectors Society if you get bogged down. Great people...Steve
