Kutter Sidelock Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 1,912 Likes: 215	Cold Blue (for steel) will darken most brass alloys. Scrub or dissolve any lacquer coating off the brass first of course. You can buy 'Brass Black',,but most Cold Blues works fine for age darkening brass and most everyone has a bottle of the brew around somewhere. The first damp cleaning patch w/BP fouling on it wiped over the brass will darken it in a matter of seconds also.
