Hmmm: Low number Springfield, but probably all right, since it has been D&T not only for scope bases but for a Lyman 48. Strange combination of a Noske mount and a Hensoldt scope. Noske mounts were available with windage adjustment, but most Noske scopes had internal windage adjustment. Probably a King ramp. Looks like a Fajan stock: the Monte Carlo rules out a period stockmaker. I think you did well to pass on it.
