Wolfgang:
Yes, that is what Ford stated. You only have to use 2 of them with a 2 pin spanner wrench. I would like to see them removed though.

Sorry about the jovial poking between Ford and I. He is a fellow Alabamian, although on Riverview time, and we have a good time.

Kind Regards,

Raimey

Wolfgang,
The "philosophic" posts are just two old friends joking with each other.
Thanks for the advice from your Meister friend, he says that the part in question is a bush (Schlagbolzenmuttern)that is removeable. The spanner(Schluessel[key])has 2 small pins, or maybe 4 to fit the holes shown.
Mike

You understand german very well. Thanks for translating in english(a little bit difficult for me) BTW, this is my "Meister Freund" as you call him, I think one of the best at all:

I just did a reportage abou him and his guns to be published in Juli 2013

Best Regards,
Wolfgang

Wolfgang,
You are welcome.
I can read German, albeit slowly. And I don't claim I understand everything I read....

Wolfgang,
I was aware of him for some time and saw the photos and videos but don't remember seeing any of his guns in the flesh. Will pay attention at the next IWA if he comes to Nurmberg.
With kind regards,
Jani
