Did anyone make it to the auction yesterday? If so did you see what items 9, 11, 178, 179, and 529 went for?
I would've made it but I was forced into yard work instead...

yard work??? gee I can't even see my yard its still under snow, even if I could guns auction trumps a rake! #9 900 (those barrels measured ic/c and looked cut to me or I would have bumped it as it was not bad for a 12bore) 11 2300 178 1750 179 1350 add 15% have no clue about 529 as I didn't stay a nib, with the box Savage 99 went for 5k that will make you save those boxs for the grandkids HTH Dave K

Dave-
Thanks for the response...the warm weather melted the snow off of the field and it was time to fire up the gravely and cut down the brush!
#11 is a pricey sterlingworth! As were 178 and 179(which btw, looked like someone hammered the right barrel at the choke with a tiny ball peen hammer!)

Mr. Dave,
Did they have a Pedersoli double blackpowder rifle? Any idea what it went for?

What about #80, the XE-Grade Ansley H. Fox 20-gauge with straight grip and the gold plated Miller single selective trigger?
#11 looked like a pretty nice 16-gauge Sterlingworth in the pictures.

Dave- I did look at #9 briefly, nice gun but I agree about the barrels. How did the Goens rifle do? An amazing piece of wood! For those who havent seen it: http://www.amoskeagauction.com/58/auction58.html, item number 8. Thanks again and I would enjoy meeting up with you at the next auction, Tom
