Franc Otte Sidelock Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 3,553 NH	Back to the 4 holes..I vote spanner holes....perhaps reason for 4 was that with 2 holes the wrench handle couldn't be turned a full half turn before hitting some part of the fence,so you couldn't get the two pronger back in for the next turn. But with the with 4 holer it could be comfortably done in 1/4 turns ? Nice old Gun, either way Franc
