Hello Oh Learned Ones
Many years ago I was in a library in another city
I took out a book and began to read the short stories

One caught my fancy

It was of a City worker that was over worked and tired and
needed to get away.
He sent a canoe by rail to the north country and spent about
a month there by himself. Even lost his small outboard engine in the lake.

Anyone remember who the author is and in which book?
