I do not know why people spread lies about the 16 still being alive as a gauge? It is not. Face it, with the lack of shells the 16 is just as dead as some of the old rimfires. You do not think rimfire owners stocked piled ammo? It will all be shot up in another 100 years. Sell while you can.

Smart owners are selling these old 16's, to unsuspecting buyers, so they can at least get a few dollars out of the 16's before word gets out that they are useless. I have been duped several times in the last year myself and am almost afraid to admit it. My last regret was a grade 2 NID with 28" barrels. Not a straight stock like I was hoping for but still a decent shooter none the less. Perhaps someone else will try to trick me again sooner or later and I will find what I was looking for. So if you have any old 16's my advise is to sell them for what ever you can get for them before the market crashes worse. smile
