As a young man I was 'treated' to shoot Christian Asthorpes sleeved gun without the barrels being soldered, not a problem. Forty years later Beretta sold me a DT10 gun that was made the same. They very embarrassed had the gun back and replaced it with one that they tried to make correctly. Never did know how that one shot as it was 'outed' immediately.
