BTW, one of my problems in the first place may be that the rear non moving pads were filed at all in the first place. I kind of think that it should be only the front pads that are placed new and adjusted to fit the rear ones. AND it could be third-hand in ownership for all I know. The headspace adjusting screw has also been filed on, at an angle and probably to keep from having to cut the barrel rim square. Who knows. I don't think it is an issue and may not know until I see if the firing pin connects with the 22. rim in the correct manner. If the headspace has to be messed with, it will definitely be a matter of adding metal, not Devcon. Steve
