I thought I would share a couple of pictures of my Steve Earle Wesson that Ken engraved for me. It's still not complete, it need metal finishing and a rear sight block but it will go bang as it appears. Well I guess it won't go bang with out a trigger and lock works but you get my meaning. I plan on a french gray action with color case breach block, carbona blue trigger guard and nitre blue screws. This was just a trial fir to make sure everthing still fit before I sent it off to Mook Metal Works (aka Glenn Fewless). Glenn is holding my barrel hostage until I send the gun.

That rifle is almost gonna be too pretty to shoot, but I know its being built for use and that's a lota what makes it so much fun for you guys to share the work with us as it moves toward than end purpose. Once finished, we shall demand photographic proof that at least one the artisans can actually shoot. Hahahaha. Does Glenn get to work up the loads, or it that reserved for the stocker? That rifle is already too nice for a Gun Digest cover and it does not even have a bbl!!!

Doug, Is that some of that "liquid wood" that flows perfectly around the metal?

What a beauty. Sure makes me hope I can afford Ken's LeFever project gun. And who did do that stock job?

And who did do that stock job? That is Mr. Mann's own work. Not too bad for an amateur, is it? Glenn

As there has been some interest in the Lefever stocking ----- Mr. Doug has agreed along with Doc Peterkin to handle the stock work. Both do the finest quakity work ! You will also find that Glenns metal work equals the stockwork shown. Guess y'all can now see why I asked these guys to join with me in developing this Lefever project. Ken

Doug, Is that some of that "liquid wood" that flows perfectly around the metal? Hey Chuck, I'm kinda getting the hang of faking the wood pores don't you think? Another year or so and I'm going to put the product on the market.
