Don't be too concerned about the resemblance to a Krieghoff, even some may say the forearm looks like a Merkel.Guns with special features were very often worked on outside the factory.Workmen often worked in a factory during the day and in his own shop during the night/weekend. Some may have been trained or work in one factory and work on special projects for another factory or gunsmith at night. This may seem odd, but they didn't like to stop production work for special features.This results in common features showing up on different makers guns.Also,if they didn't make a particular type action,they might buy raw actions and barrel bundles from another factory, for fitting in their own.This results in similar looking guns also.It would run even Raimey's computer crazy trying to figure all this out.Some can't be figured out.
