The complaint from the hunters is ridiculous since someone's grouse season starts every weekend. Rick is scheduling away from major side by side shoots and should not worry too much about grouse, teal, pheasant, or any other bird season. His NSCA schedule is more important to him than anything. I think his choice of dates this year is fine. The Vintagers will be attended by those who feel the need to attend. If you live in the South and feel the need to attend both events, go for it. I live in Maryland, enjoy both events, and may attend both. Those less involved with side by side shooting and displaying may pick one over the other. If they were six weeks apart, they would still only attend one.
