I recently saw a 12ga MI-Val in a local shop and they made it worth my while. I tried it on trap Saturday and it shot way beyond my expectations. I never shot but one gun before where I knew each time where my shot was going before the bird broke or not. I managed 23 and knew the instant I sighted and committed to pull the trigger where the lead was going.
Seems to be a nice gun and I'm pleased with it. The last one I found referenced by the original owner was assembled at the Beretta factory in 1972 and bought for $85 from the Beretta dealer in Naples. All seem to have been bought by Navy men on cruises in the Med.
The date Beretta acquired Mi-Val seems a little unclear but they were assembling the guns at the Beretta factory from parts in 1964 if original owners are to be believed.
