Still baffled by the resemblance to a Krieghoff
The Suhl makers seem to have been fairly incestuous between the wars. Probably as a means of survival.
It went on before that too. I have a pre WWI Collath that seems correct in every way except the name on it. Made for the trade I guess.
Well drduc,, As the saying goes, "Was passiert in Suhl, bleibt in Suhl. . Lots of late night dealings i imagine followed by a good quantity of Schnapps or Apfelsaft to celebrate another year in business
