I said I would post a pic now and then. Been awhile. Progress has been slow due to a huge project at work, family concerns, and then my own company growing. Any way here are a couple of pics.
I installed the grip cap I made and now need to fit the wood to it. You can see I also remodeled the cheek piece look quite a bit from the original that was on the pre-inlet.

The second it the forearm treatment. Its not finished yet, I may soften it abit by reducing its size but having wood to remove is always better then the other way.

(Michael Hayes, the muzzeloader riflesmith, one time told me he had never finished shaping a gunstock less then 3 times, always a little more to remove to get that feel just right. LOL)
