I made a non marring sling. It was a simple loop for the barrels and a buckle bracelet that tightened behind the trigger guard. The gun weight was born by the trigger guard side. The barrel loop was mostly a guide to hold the barrels upright. It was OK for carrying and it never scratched or marked any gun. No swivels needed and during hunting it could be shoved into a pocket.

It must have been good, because someone stole it. Easy to make too, from an old leather belt.
