I enjoyed being around Mike when we met in Kansas, he had a sense of humor that was similar to the sense of humor my wife had. Being around Mike keeps you mentally on your toes.

Mike, I should be heading to Tucson in about a month. I plan to spend the rest of the winter in Tucson, I expect to do some quail hunting there. Around April I plan to start my loop through the west. I'll keep all y'all here posted.

BTW about those hens, what would confuse my dog was that we used to go to a preserve that was 25 miles from my house. Hens were okay to shoot at the preserve, then we'd go after wild birds and they weren't okay to shoot. Samba would get so frustrated she'd turn around and give me the stink-eye.
