I do not have a photograph of the actual ledger entrance that was written pertaining to the rifle. I only have a letter that was sent to me by Cogswell & Harrison. The original ledger might actually have cordite listed with the date 1991 when it was sold. I wonder if it would have been illegal, however, to have sold the rifle as using cordite when it had not been proof tested with cordite, The proof marks on it are black powder proof. Then again, I do not know when nitro proof marks came into use.
