Yes, they are in the proper order. The first two are of what I believe to be a post war2 Deluxe that was posted before. At that time one other came to light with the larger barrel markings that had the R missing from R F Sedgley. At Tulsa I got from Shane what should be a post war2 Special which has the same larger markings but it has the R. Probably because this one is numbered 269 lower than the Deluxe and before the R was damaged or removed. But what is a Special?? The differences are the Deluxe has a cheekpiece, a horn foreend cap, a checkered and jeweled bolt and more elaborate checkering. Does anyone out there have a Sedgley catalog after No 48 which is dated 1940?
Both of these guns have the bolt shroud as shown in the last photo, this shroud is the Smith-Corona 03-A3 profile but it has more metal than the std shroud for the speed lock. Since this profile didn't come to be until WW2, did Sedgley make shrouds for S-C?
