Dan will be along to tell you about the pictures. I'm not sure I have them in right order but can move them around if needed.

Yes, they are in the proper order. The first two are of what I believe to be a post war2 Deluxe that was posted before. At that time one other came to light with the larger barrel markings that had the R missing from R F Sedgley. At Tulsa I got from Shane what should be a post war2 Special which has the same larger markings but it has the R. Probably because this one is numbered 269 lower than the Deluxe and before the R was damaged or removed. But what is a Special?? The differences are the Deluxe has a cheekpiece, a horn foreend cap, a checkered and jeweled bolt and more elaborate checkering. Does anyone out there have a Sedgley catalog after No 48 which is dated 1940?

Both of these guns have the bolt shroud as shown in the last photo, this shroud is the Smith-Corona 03-A3 profile but it has more metal than the std shroud for the speed lock. Since this profile didn't come to be until WW2, did Sedgley make shrouds for S-C?

Dan

Dan's table of Sedgley rifles was one of the finest displays at the Tulsa Show. It was on the bottom floor with the NRA exhibit which for some reason was difficult to find. I really hope Dan will put that together for us again one day.

Could you post some pictures of the tables Dan? And maybe a description of the rifles?
