Mark was an extraordinary man. Little known was his professional life, and I knew little myself. He a was the head man at Amnesty International for a while until they learned of his association with firearms.
As a lawyer he was a champion of 2cd Amendment rights and always invested in retaining personal freedoms.
His contribution to the ACGG Historic Custom Firearms display in Reno a few years ago was enormous.
Mark was THE Krag collector, nationally know for it and always a mystery to me, maintained his collection in Manhattan, NY.
I did not know Mark Benenson nearly well enough…
