I looked at the B&P website and didn't see the High Pheasant load among their offerings. Are they still available?

How hard is it to switch between shell lengths in the same gauge. I have two old 12s, one French chambered 2.5" the other Belgian, post 1924 with original proofed 3" chambers. I have no experience reloading, but it seems like something to consider once bitten by the vintage double gun virus.

On the original topic, I finally called John Allen at Game Fair, and he told me of a master gunsmith with lots of experience with fine British and European doubles 2 hours west of Nashville, Frank Elliot at WHMCGUNS (McClanahan's Gun Shop) in Humboldt, TN. I called Mr. Elliot and he was conversant about the Darne. I'll try to get over there this weekend. Glad to find an option to shipping it across the country.
