Take two 12 gauge LC Smiths- both R framed, 32" Armor steel barrels- one is a Long Range, the Other is a Wildfowl series- made aprox 1927-1934-- both with 3" chambers and Full choked-- is there any difference in the length of the choke taper in either of these "far reaching" 12 bores- how long is the choke taper, and about where does it start, measured back from the muzzle and going towards the breech?
