Yes and Yes. My gunsmith just repaired the barrel lug on a side lever side lock ejector Grant. Sleeved by Westley Richards and BH proofed. One side showed very good attachment, the other not so good. Did not come off but was very loose. Last week on the second to last station, forend came loose on a Woodward snap action hammer gun. Lug came off and held by the forend key. Called my gunsmith and asked him if he kept the nails and wire because he will have another repair to do. Also sleeved and BH proofed. One side showed very good joint, the other not so good. I'll have him do a new stock finish while it's on the bench. Has stunning wood darkened by age and oil so I wanted to do that job anyway. Both of these are great shooters and I'm glad I am able to take care of them for awhile.
