The price seems to be all over the place for Sedgleys. For a normal one like the one pictured above in .30-06 and without problems say in the 1K range. There is sharp increase for other calibers, engraving, special wood or deluxe (model) rifles. I see many advertised on the net at much higher prices, the same rifles year after year, never selling.
In regard to low-numbered 1903s Springfield sporters, save yourself from these dangerous death traps. There is now a disposal facility up in Alaska (need to protect the public) for these.
