Check out p. 48-9 of G. T. Garwood's Second Gun Book for description of method for disabling Southgate mechanism on AyA sidelocks. I had some pix up on a similar "seeking advice" thread a few weeks ago. I have no luck at all with the current search function so doubt you'll find them. I should caution that Garwood states that the AyA ejector mech has "an additional part" (a central lever) which other makers' Southgate ejector trains may not. If this isn't an applicable solution, you could remove the v-springs.
