This one of J.R.B.'s took some work as the pictures show. It had the farmer bolt through the cheeks, chipped toe and chipped butt plate and a long longitudinal crack down the middle to the comb. It also had a fairly large crack on each side of the upper tang.

The stock required 8 steel pins and took quite a bit of work to repair. Then off to my checkering lady it went for a complete re-cut and new checkered Chevrons added to hide the farmer bolt plugs that I made.

Then stain, finish, polish, re-polish etc.....
