A really cool, old school underrated American gun. A real meat & potatoes piece that served many important roles back in the day. Partridge, pheasants or quail? Sure. Ducks? Ya, why not. Geese? Nothing better for Christmas Dinner. Fox in the chicken coop? Took care of that problem. Strange car coming up the driveway or a knock on the door in the middle of the night? Right tool for that job too. Guy knocks up your daughter? The perfect altar escort.
Nice gun. Treat it nice!

Minding your own business? You walked into a local gunshop and came out with that.

That's like saying you walked into a Hooters and came out married to a waitress.

You went in knowing there might be temptation awaiting! laugh

Nice gun, Bushmaster

I really did have other business at the local gunshop.

But then, the man behind the counter got me into an armlock, pushed my face into the counter, took the debit card out of my wallet and forced me to buy this against my will. He even made me fill out the NICS form and check all those little boxes. Why doesn't anyone believe me?

Most of these were rode hard and frequently put away wet. Not many Batavia Leaders are seen in this kind of original condition. It looks like it's good to go for another 90 years or so. Santa was good to you!

That he was a she? Now I'm really in trouble...

Not only do I have to convince my wife that I had no part in making that gun follow me home, I also need to explain how I was beat up by a girl!

If your wife is like others she is more likely to believe you got beat up than you did not LET that gun follow you home. Sad day when an innocent husband is assumed guilty before he even explains the facts to his wife. Sad day indeed.
