Disable the ejectors by removing the ejector springs. Label and store the sprins so the ejectors can be enabled at a later date by reinstalling the springs. Depending on the ejector pattern, spring remval is between easy and somewhat difficult for the hobbiest gunsmith. Any serious gunsmith can do it easily. Doing so should save a bit of wear on the gun.
