Want List for 2014, so many projects;-). Please feel free to add your wants to the thread.

Lyman No. 18 Ivory Bead front sight with windage, not to be confused with the combination sight with a hood sometime called a Beech sight Lyman No. 8.

Lyman No. 103 tang sight (the one with windage) with code S on the bottom.

Winchester high-wall stock set for factory pistol grip. I will consider just the buttstock, factory or custom.

A.O. Niedner Malden, Mass marked sporter 1903 or Mauser.

I still want factory wood for a Savage/Valmet Model 333 12 guage O/U I'm trying to revive, but that's a little OT here.

But I do need some INFO related to the subjects of this forum:

Does anybody know what kind of rings J.D. Steele milled his custom octagon barrel scope bases for? I seem to remember that he said Warne rings, but I've lost his note. And I've finally got around to NEEDING to scope my C. Sharps Hiwall.

Wish to heck I could just ask HIM.... !Que descanse en paz, Joe!

I'd be grateful for any insights!

This may sound easy, but it hasn't proven to be so.I'm looking for a ladder sight with a 1/2" dovetail, something that would look proper on an agricultural, side hammer sharps, put together with original parts.

I'm also looking for a Winchester A5 scope, I just need the scope and not the adjustment rings. A lot of these were used in the Navy without any rings but don't see them much anymore.
