I have used these Orvis gloves for a few years and they work well until it gets below 15 deg or so. They are lined with thinsulate, but the trigger finger feel is pretty good. They go on sale occassionally which is the time to buy them

I have also used fingerless rag wool gloves with a pair of glove liners underneath. They do a good job keeping the hands warm while leaving some feel in the trigger finger.

Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.
