I also have used the military flying gloves since 1993 when I first started flight school and they are very good for moderate to warm weather but when it gets really cold I use the military cold weather flight glove which is a high quality pliable leather shell with GI wool liners inside. For very warm weather I use Orvis deer skin gloves. I still have the original pair I bought 12 or 13 years and except for wearing a small hole at the tip of my trigger finger they are still my favorite summer and early fall glove.
