it chews through ounce loads without a worry at vintage shoots and its nice not to worry about 2 & 1/2" shells and low pressure like with my Damascus Holloway hammer gun!
.
The 2 3/4" hull in a 2 1/2" chamber pressure issue is a "red herring.". Low pressure loads in 2 3/4" hulls have been demonstrated to only slightly increase pressure in 2 1/2" chambers. Keep in mind that the short charge does not determine suitability. You must have both low pressure and light recoil. If you must shoot factory loads, find out the pressure before picking them for a steady diet.
