Perazzi springs do break, otherwise they wouldn't be selling the little kit with two hammer springs, two firing pins with springs and the tool to replace the hammer springs. They also sell complete replacement trigger assemblies for faster replacement when a spring breaks. When I shot competition skeet, I used Remington 3200, Beretta 682 and Perazzi Mirage guns, and broke springs or spring struts with all of them, and the Remingtons and Berettas had coil springs. I have made a number of gun springs from annealed spring stock from Brownells by heating red hot with a welding torch, quenching in motor oil, then tempering in a kitchen oven.
