OP Michael Petrov Sidelock Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 6,881 Alaska	I believe that this rifle originally had a wood cover on the top of the barrel, there is inletting for what looks like a clip on the barrel. MP Sadly Deceased as of 2/17/2014
