Drew has the right information. The twist guns were Trojans, not VH grade. A couple of the Trojans have surfaced and are in collections. I am not aware that any of the tens have surfaced. The auction gun was most likely a PH, Grade 1 gun that was described by its appearance, not by its markings. It predates the VH by some time. There is at least one factory documented Damascus barrel VH, offered by Leroy Merz several years ago, but it was a factory rebarrel, not a gun originally made with Damascus barrels. It is in a collection. We would like to see pictures or details about the guns Ithaca 16 mentions.
