Perhaps a bit off topic here, but I have a new to me sporter 1903 that a previous owner had oiled or greased all the moving parts. I have been able to disassemble and clean up the trigger, bolt stop and magazine cutoff. The problem is that I cannot get the firing pin sleeve to move at all. It wont even turn. I have submerged it in Hoppes for 2 days and still no luck.
Any ideas? I would not care too much about the bolt except I need to degrease and clean the safety as it turns as if lubed with rubber cement. I don't want to bubba this thing up!
