If that is the seller, that pic is worth a thousand words . . . . I wouldn't buy a coffee from that woman.
For a gun dealer, she doesn't know much about safe gun handling.
Sorry for your troubles

Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.

This scenario really stinks. I've been ripped off too on an Internet deal. There are dishonest folks out there and if the incident occurs across state lines it is likely cost prohibitive to pursue with a lawyer, unless it involves a whole bunch of money ......or at least it was for me. You have to be really careful out there and it is worth it to me paying a premium to a well respected dealer just for the piece of mind of knowing I'm likely not going to get ripped off. Good luck Dr Bob!

Mrs K Fine Jewelers-the women who ripped you off evidently has done the same to a few others http://www.mapquest.com/places/ms-ks-fine-jewelry-saint-george-ut-286021549"posted by rob4pc just now I had almost the EXACT same experience happen at Ms. K's (aka, the wedding ring co in the mall) (had to move stores and change name because everyone knew how big of a scam artist the owner is). I agree with everything Natalie posted above! There's not much more to say, other than the fact that the owner Brian is the most dishonest business owner I have ever seen in my life! Please do NOT go to this store whatever you do!! He's a really good smooth talker.. but when the business is said and done, you'll find yourself ripped off for sure! Horrible, horrible experience!" Sorry dude. You have made three common male gender mistakes:
You trusted a woman.
You trusted a woman in Las Vegas.
You were seduced by a Lefever.

That looks like her. Where did that come from? She has that posted on her Facebook page. Apparently she thinks she is a big deal in Utah media circles. Seems appropriate that her shop is in the old jailhouse.

If the US Mail was used to facilitate the transaction what the seller did could constitute mail fraud. The Post Office tends to frown on that sort of thing.

DrBob; sorry to here of your situation. I had one a few years back. I filed a claim to the Post Office and I think they sent a postal inspector to investigate. The situation was rectified lightning fast. Apparently a U.S. Postal Inspector has some authority.
I now use a debit card or postal money order even if I have to purchase several to get the amount needed.
Good Luck and please let us know how things turn out.

How do you contact the US Postal Inspector for her location?
