Well I will quit mixing chemicals, however as I stated I have soaked many many receivers in this solution and never had a problem before. This was a gun a fellow bought on Gunbroker
and after the fact he told me it was suspect as the first time he wiped it down with a little oil some of the blue color came off on his rag. So I suspect it was a con job finish in the first place.
