Hodgdon's Data Manual No. 23 (1979) has a 2 3/4 16 ga slug load using Winchester hull and "20 Trap-100" powder and charge in grains (whatever that is) Wad "3/4 oz Meyer Bros AW + 1/2" velocity 1400fps Lup 10,200.

No mention primer.

Note in Sierra Reloading Manual (1971) there are AL-120 and AL-101 Alcan powders within top 10 fastest burning rate chart. Suppose Trap 100 also Alcan? The following is far better.

Dupont Handloaders Guide has a 2 3/4 16ga buckshot load (12 pellets) Federal 209 primer, 27.5 grains 4756 Wad "PGS + 5 /16 in FBS" 1285 fps and pressure 7300

I have some 16ga Circle Fly wads and cards and RMC brass, to which you are welcome. Is your Husky 2 1/2 or 2 3/4?
