Drew Hause Sidelock Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 9,762 Likes: 462 AZ but dreaming of KS	I see lots of vintage doubles with significant pitting just past the forcing cones, and am of the opinion that plastic and powder residue can build up at the bottom/within/above those craters. Some are close enough to the breech that I can feel the rough edges of the pit if a 12 or 10g. Possibly a justification for EXPERT honing. https://sites.google.com/a/damascusknowledge.com/www/home
