I had followed, and bid, on this one, but wasn't willing to go higher without more info. Opinions on this nice William Evans rook rifle? From the pictures the seller had sent, the wood and colors are all original. The engraving is sharp. It appears to have started out as a long .300 (a Sherwood?) and later was re-bored to 38spl, and then re-chambered into a 35/30 wildcat. It also seems the scope, while added by the maker, was added later.
