Bob,I thought you were taking a brake on your buying spree. It sounds like a nice gun. Do I have to wear white gloves to handle it?

I'm still waiting for my RBL. Every time I call the date it went into the shop changes....strange.

Tom, All my guns are "white glove quality". Show and tell soon. Back to Texas Monday next. I think this 16 is the idea sporting clays gun due to configuration and weight. I think it is going to be my "beater".

After Ithaca Gun Co. went out of business, and after Turnbull had some of the left over Ithaca parts, I think a dealer in Minnesota, whose name I can't remember [maybe Goergen]put together guns with the Ithaca parts and sold them. You may have one of those.

Trying to reach you, but your phone is out. Did you get the package from John last week?

As I recall, the frame sizes of the Ithaca NID are the same in gauges near the 28 ga. If so, you might find a stock from another gauge fits ok.

I looked closer today at the no name Ithaca by me it has a 464,xxx frame with 447,xxx barrels and forend. I have a question though I looked at a grade 6 sbt last year that went at an estate auction and it had an extra barrel with the correct serial number but it had a matte finish as opposed to a blue finish is this how Ithaca would send out extra barrels.
