I seek out guns that have sometimes serious issues of condition but give a clue of really low mileage (rounds shot). A hundred years from now, the ability to shoot one of these guns without mechanical problems will be a real plus. Obviously, from previous experience, I know that a gun that hardly works, but, by some quirk of gunsmithing, looks good, will sell for more money. I don't care. I will still look for good guns that haven't been shot much but are a little neglected. They are the ones I can afford, but work.
