The dent could have been fixed for very little money. The safety was not that big of a problem to correct, easier if solder than a blob of weld. That was a very early gun and would have needed a good evaluation before major restoration or use. The triggers while looking neat as heck are not that comfortable to use from the one I have shot a few times. Still if comfort and ease of use was the goal most people would shoot automatics and recoil absorbing camo stocks which while easier on old bones would detract from the spirit of a good double shoot.
