I have read that in the late 1800's there were several patents introduced for the electric ignition of a firearm. Pieper in Belgium had one such patent. I would love to see a photo of such a gun and cartridge. Does anyone have any experience with these guns/cartridges? I'm wondering why there was no success in marketing such an invention because supposedly these guns and shells were functional. They actually worked.
